We love a shot of it on vanilla ice cream, drizzle it on sweet potatoes and brussel sprouts before oven roasting and use it as a glaze for pork and pan seared asparagus.
And for our “secret recipe homemade” baked beans, we use it to caramelize diced red onion, stir the onion into a can of baked beans, add a tablespoon or two of Bourbon Barrel-Aged Maple Syrup and simmer the beans uncovered for a bit to concentrate and intensify the flavor. Delicious!
