DESCRIPTION:Enjoy Christmas in the Country and explore historic homes! \nGet into the holiday spirit on Saturday\, Dec. 8 and Sunday\, Dec. 9 on a tour of Christmas past with Brownsburg’s biennial Christmas in the Country Home Tour. \nThe Christmas in the Country Home Tour features five of Brownsburg’s lovely homes as well as historic Wade’s Mill\, all of which are wonderful examples of the Shenandoah Valley rural vernacular architecture of the late 18th and early 19th centuries.  All homes will be beautifully decorated for Christmas. \nThe Brownsburg Museum will also be open and you can join your friends and neighbors for cider and cookies at the Lucas House. \n  \nChristmas in the Country Home Tour Dates: \nSaturday\, December 8\, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  \nSunday\, December 9\, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. \n\n  \nTICKETS: $20 in advance and $25 on the day \nTickets may be purchased in advance at the following locations: \nBrownsburg: Old South Antiques\nFairfield: The Fairfield General Store\nLexington: Books & Co….Toys\, too! & Ladles and Linens\nRaphine: Wade’s Mill\nStaunton: Blue Mountain Coffee & Pampered Palate\nBy Mail: checks payable to BCA\, P.O. Box 82\, Brownsburg\, VA 24415 \n  \n\nLUNCH \n\nAs lunch options are limited in the area\, lunch is being offered for $13 by Full Circle Catering to pre-order and pick up on Saturday\, Dec. 8 from noon-2 p.m. at the New Providence Presbyterian Church. \nLunch must be pre-ordered by Dec. 1.  Lunch is not provided on Sunday\, Dec. 9. \nChoice of 1) sweet potato biscuits with country ham\, side salad of roasted corn\, sweet pepper and bean\, Route 11 bagged chips and dessert OR 2) green salad topped with roast chicken breast\, sliced pear\, sliced apple and candied pecans with dressing on the side\, Route 11 bagged chips and dessert.
