Location
Wade's Mill is located in the beautiful Shenandoah
Valley of Virginia, half way between Staunton and
Lexington in Raphine, Virginia. Raphine is in what
was known as "the breadbasket of the South" and five
miles from the spot where Cyrus McCormick invented
the reaper. It is an hour from Charlottesville,
Virginia and two and one half hours from our
Nation's Capital, but a lifetime away. There is
fresh air, bucolic scenery and breathtaking views of
the Blue Ridge and Allegheny mountains.
Wade's
Mill is 4 miles from Interstate 81/64. Take exit 205
(Raphine/Steele's Tavern) and go west 4 miles on Va
Rt. 606 (Raphine Road). Look for our sign. We are
next door to Buffalo Springs Herb Farm.
